ok what is ever one getin with there 04 duramax on my dash it said 15.4 is this pretty good i have about 2500 miles on it ? is there a way i can clear that and see if it will chage any?

Hold down the button on the bottom right of the steering wheel. That will reset the average fuel economy.

ok just try doing that but its still there are you talkin about where it says avg. economy 15.4 that would not clear off any ideas?

yes when it says avg fuel economy, hold downt he button that looks like a enter key. I believe it is bottom right. That should reset it. If you do it while sitting still it should reset to 0mpg.

10,000 miles with an average mpg of 17.9

I have been leaving the "Normal" average MPG alone to give me a long term indication, and using the "Personal" mode to check MPG in different types of operating conditions. City, Highway, Towing, Etc.


"Personal" indicated 19.7mpg over 110 highway miles yesterday. "Normal" indicates 15.9 since truck was new. (only 1k miles).
