Anyone know if the 2006 Chevy trucks have tire pressure monitoring? I didn't see it in the truck manual but I did see it in the Duramax supplement manual, at least it post a picture of the low tire but doesn't talk about it from what I could find.
Thanks

no, non of the HD trucks have it.

Those things are a PITA! Every time the weather gets cooler and your pressure drops a pound, it'll drive you nuts. I had a Caddy DTS that had it and I hated it.

Just grab some of those valve caps that tell you if you're in the right range. I have a set for my trailer and they are nice

I have them on my work truck - an S10, but I haven't found any for my Duramax that go to 80 psi.

Then why is it shown in the Duramax supplement manual?

Are you sure they aren't just talking about manually monitoring the tire pressure? (Sorry - I'm too lazy to go look in mine. :o: )
As I said in an earlier post, I have the replacement valve caps on my work truck and on the wifes' Montana and really like them. I just can't find a 80 psi version.

They have them for RVs, so there should be some that go much higher than 80psi

Yeow! The ones on my S10 were $12 for a set of four. These are $7 EACH! Anything to do with camping gets jacked up at least 50%! I want a set - but four for my trailer and four my truck plus two for the spares = $70! Maybe I'll just buy one and switch it from tire to tire......):h
But hey, I asked - and you delivered! Thanks :D
