I have a good friend who is having this problem with the tranny on his 97 F350 powerstroke. He says it starts to overheat after 40 miles or so, and doesnt want to up shift correctly.


Some people have said its a speed sensor, i'm sure the dealer will want to replace it. Can anyone point me in the right direction to get some info on whether or not this is a common problem?
