Just very recently I have noticed a short squeak when shifting from 4 to 5. It is mainly when I am merging onto the highway under heavy acceleration. Right in the process or at the very end of the shift and final engagment there is a short squeak or shrill coming from the lower half of the truck. Honestly I have no idea if it is in the rear, front, middle or what. Things are kinda happening fast and noisy at 70 MPH.


Any ideas on where to start looking?

I have been paying close attention to the sound I decribed in the above post. It is more of a chirp and it only happens when the A/C is on. It happens randomly on any shift. I do believe it is coming from under the hood. I guess it is the belt or the A/C pump?
