This is an FSD cooler that i found on ebay for about $100. Just curious if this is the best one and if this is a good price? And can you use the factory PMD or would i have to get a new one?

Here is another one i found for only $70. It is from Polarflo. It makes sense to mount it in the veritcal position.

I pulled this FSD off the IP and mounted it on this piece of aluminum and connected it with 42" of wireharness extension.

Despite what anyone says, this configuration has worked well for me and the cooler and harness were the right price. It cost a few dollars and a little time.

quantum mechanic - Where did you get the wiring harness extension? I will do whatever is cheapest. Any remote mount setup is better than stock no matter how much is costs is the way I feel.

I bought a roll of 18 awg. wire and spliced 6 wires 42" long into the stock harness. I've been told that I should have sodered the splices but thousands of miles later, no problems. The extra resistance in the system will increase fuel response a little.

I think you should just build your own. Its good stuff to see what everyone comes up with in here. This is my soon to be cooler http://imagehost.vendio.com/bin/imageserver.x/00000000/stateandcounty/.mids/MVC592S.JPG
