Ok I know that there have been a few post on the belt chirp problem. I went to the dealer to take delivery of new 06 Savanna with LLY. Drove to put fuel in when I left the dealership engine let out a screach:eek:, I let off the throttle and noise was reduced but not eliminated. This is not a chirp only happens wide open throttle and normal accel thru 1st and 2nd.

This is the quickest I have had vehicle in for service. ANY Ideas

It is hard to believe that this is just a tight belt

Probably the power steering pulley, when they moved mine the wrong way it was squeeling like a stuck pig. Seems like GM may have some bad specs for the position of the pulley on the PS pump shaft.
