According to Diablosport.com, all 01-05 Duramax speed limiters can be raised to approximately 120mph.

Their website may say that, but it will not raise it on the 2001 models. Trust me on this.

I have a 02 made in dec of 01. I have mine raised to 125 and the attitude says i can get close to the 125 mark. Have you tried to program it in the tune that does not add horsepower. you have to set it for each tune that you add if I recall. I havent played with mine in over a year but I know she will still hit tripple digets in a heartbeet.

It will on 2002 models, no matter when the build date was. I believe the only one that has the capability to raise the speed limiter on the 2001 models is TTS. I don't know how EFILive is coming along. Those two options are IT for 2001.

if it was built 12/01 IMO its an 01 and thats why you cant raise the limiter

Mine was built in 12-01 it is counted as a 2002 and I have no problems rasing the limter on mine. Did you try the stock tune to see if you could get it to work. If you keep trying like you are you are going to end up hooking up with johney law.LOL

I had a 03 chevy p/u, i bought a chip for it, and i just looked on the door sticker, it said 10-92, so i ordered one for a 92, but when i went to install it, it was the wrong one the on in my truck was bigger, so i called "JET" and told them the problem. They said that was a 93 and the chip is bigger cuz 93 was the first year for "Electronic Tranmission in the 1/2 ton P/U" come to find out it was 03 and had all 03 model updates.

So 12/01 is a 02 and has all 02 updates.

ANY vehicle manufactured after July 1 of any year is considered the next model year. ie, build date of 05-21-06 is a 06 model. Build date of 07-04-06 is an 07 model.

Wrong. My truck was built 7/01 and it is a 2001.
