All the problems i here with the juice is making me think twice about buying eges product. The thing that keeps me wanting the edge is there moduale i like the square display so i wont have to put guages and mounter everything through the mouduale. So my question to all of u is should i stick with edge or should i find another company? If another company which is the best in reliabity and easy to use? Can i run edges mounter with the other chips? I bet i can etgs but have anyone tried this? Is edges ez reliable? One more question for everyone i was looking at where i would mount this diaplay if i bought it and i was thinking that i dont like the pilar mount and up top in the consol up top so i was thinking was about right below the ciggarette lighter has this been done? If i get the stage 5 will my tranny survie for some time seeing that there is the occatiional 5 stage race. Can the 01 tranny limp to ? Thanks for all ur help still pretty new to this deisal thing any info will help.

I faced the same dilemma with the Edge, I liked the external chip and attitude monitor just not enough to risk my life. Mine shut me down after a few days in service and that was enough for me. I purchased the Bully Dog, Triple Dog with Outlook monitor. You can go to any dealer and try before you buy if you are curious how your truck will perform. The Outlook seems to do eveything the Attitude can but I haven't sat down and compared features yet. There is plenty of info on Bullydogs webs site: http://www.bullydog.com/

I mounted my Outlook in the small compartment in my dash, some units have the air bag switch here. Fits nice, easy to access and fairly easy to read. Make sure if you buy this that you get the latest version 3.3.0. Just realesed this month.

Hope this helps and good luck.

Quadzilla makes a monitor called the Commander that can control other tuning devices as well as display the same or more engine parameters (EGT, boost, etc) as others, but availability is still fairly poor. I've tried a number of times/places to get more information about how the monitor works, but have not had a lot of success. Diablo is also working on a monitor that will control other tuners, but doesn't sound like it'll be available for quite a while.

Would u say bulldog is easy to program and to use. Ya i totally agree with u man i can risk the truck not working to dangerous and its like guess work is it or is it not going to work today that wont fly in my book. So u speak of testing these moniters before u by with adealer. So are u meaning going to ur local performance dealer and saying that ur intrested in buying a tuner and aask if they can plug one in and let me try it out and then try asnother on to see which one is better
