I have a new 2006 Crew Cab with the LBZ and 6 speed allison. Any way I want to get a banks kit after break in but I hear the extra 120 HP is not good for the tranny. So what would be the easiest upgrade to make sure nothing gets damaged? :help2:

you don't have to run the full 120 extra hp all the time. A good friend has a LLY with edge w/ attitude and banks exhaust & intake. I believe on the "extreme" setting it does like 150 extra hp and 250 tq but he says the single plate tq convertor cant really handle it so he rarely runs that setting.

I would do the upgrade and ride around 90% of the time in the economy mode or one of the lower settings

I am in the same boat as you. Just from reading around, you are going to want a Transgo jr for sure. If you do some thread searches on that, you will find that this has been discussed and there may be some more ideas for you out there. To bad my wallet is not as big as my wish list.

I did a quick look for Transgo Jr. Can anyone tell me what it does and how it works? Also if it makes it run or shift any better? From what I see its easy enough to install.

Thanks alot
