Thanks for those who sent me off running to the flea market in search for a Manual I found a Chilton General Motors Full Size Trucks 1980-87 repair manual.):h It covers both gas and diesel us and canadian chevy /gmc 1/2,3/4,and 1 ton 2 and 4 wheel drive jimmy and suburban. Includes Wiring and vacume diagrams.

And this vendor must have raided all the garage sales because he had a boat load of books. I picked one up for the old chevy cars 64-70 .Only paid a dollar for each manual . :ro)

If any one needs a copy let me know . This is what I do for a living is copy and convert to electronic media .So if you want a section or the hole darn thing I can e mail it to you .pdf format 300 to 600 dpi for high end reading.

I have one of those manuals. It is a good manual, but it doesn't have all that much information about the diesel (not exactly surprising, it is hard to find info on the 6.2). Great for the truck, though...

$1 a piece is a pretty good deal for a shop manual!
