How much will it cost to do a lift kit on my K3500 4x4? Who makes it and what is the max lift without changing out to many suspension parts?

Ive been doin a bunch of research lately on this subject. The only lift listed that will technically fit is superlift 5"-7" ( $1800 ). I found that any 8 lug kit will work fine EXCEPT you will have to modify your carrier bearing crossmember your self. It will need to be dropped to keep the shaft straight. I will be going with a tuff country( $1135). I am kinda local to them and have used several of thier kits in the past and been very happy every time.
The 6" tuff will clear 315/75/16 tires (35" tall)
For the dually like mine you need a set of 2.5" spacers between the rears to keep them from rubbin ( local off-road shop sells them for 200$)
The idea of 35 " tires on a 6" wide wheel kinda scared me but the local shops have done it at least 100 times and they said as long as you are vigilent about checking pressure etc.. they will be fine. The local les schwab said there would be no problem and they would still honor the 50,000 mi warranty on thier tires. They even put it in writing. Hope this helps, I couldny find out any info when i started looking.

I have a CST 6-8 on my 3500. I still use my truck to haul a Gearbox 5-er loaded with toys for the sandbox. I did wheels, tires, lift, uniballs, dual Fox shocks with reservoirs, traction bars, and train horns for about 10k.
