Hey guys,

I'm wondering who amongst you, has done the optic bump, is still running with it, and who is happy with it?

Is there anyone who tows with the optic bump done? What about the optic bump and a boost fooler? Anyone running both, that are happy with them?

Are these good mods for towing a trailer? Or do they just get things hotter, quicker?

I did the optic bump and I had a tough time getting it right. It's very easy to go too far with it. If you don't have a scan tool to check timing and fuel rate, you're shooting in the dark. Some guys have reported good results on the first try. Others have reported getting just right after several attempts. If you have patience, go for it.

If you don't have a scan tool, make sure you mark the exact position VERY accurately before you move it.

It's a touchy adjustment works when done correctly, PITA if you don't get it set correctly, boost fooling is a good mod,

I like it and recommend it....although my truck currently doesnt sport the OB currently.
