: Has anyone had their '03-'06 GMC grille insert chromed? jmbfin 07-17-2006, 05:43 PM I have been looking for an insert for the grille insert that looks like the factory insert with the wide bars chromed. All I have been able to find are the Denali type and those with 10-15 thin bars. If an aftermarket one is not available, does anyone know if the grille assembly can be removed and the center bars chromed? jderk 07-17-2006, 06:09 PM If you search a company called RDX they sell a chromed "factory" grille. However, apparently it was discontinued. It seems people were disappointed that the chromed center bars were not smooth. They were textured like the factory grille. Guess I will keep on looking.
