I was able to reduce my temps by over 100 degrees by sealing out the engine heat and forcing the engine to draw air from behind the headlight area. Cooler air is denser and contains more oxygen.

Its foam that I painted black. The paint helps preserve the foam under the hood (hot area) and will last at least a few years. I got it from a fabric shop, 2 inch thick, then cut it on a table saw with a very fine blade..
