Trying to determine if heat related issues promote increased wear in our HP pumps and injectors as fuel thins causing lubricity and film strength losses. Information on this was in a TSB that was sent out to our Rotating equip. personnel. I don't expect a large response due to the rare occurances we have but It would be good to know if it is significant. My fuel did reach near 120 degrees last summer. Thats really hot!


Could we benefit from additional fuel Cooling / Lubricity ?
