I have installed a 4" exhaust, Volant intake, Edge chip, and new rubber on my 05 LT crew cab long box. I would like some opinions on additional installs for overall improvements to the truck (everything but the look of it). I plan on keeping the stock tranny and turbo until they go TU. Just looking for more options and advice from the people who have 1st hand knowledge as well as where these items were purchased. :beerchug:

You don't have a signature, so we don't know what year/type vehicle you have. But popular add-ons for most D/A's are Fumoto Oil Drain Valve, auxillary fuel filter, gauges, mud flaps/splash guards, In-cab A/C Filter mod., quad headlight mod., to name a few.
Check out the Do It Yourself section, there's lots of ideas there.

From what I've read here, the factory intercooler is pretty efficient and can support plenty of HP. You're right about the Banks. When I contacted them, they actually told me it would not make any more power, just a little bit better throttle response, that's about it. I decided against spending the $1200-1500, or whatever it costs.

Anybody know where I can get black rims that have a 3,000lbs load rating like the stock ones? Les Schwab's only rated for 2,500lbs.

The first step should be to build your trans before you hurt it. Then the biggest improvement you can make is to sell the Edge and buy an EFILive based tune from one of the many tuners here on the board!
