I drained the fluid in the allison and changed the spin on filter. Fluid was pretty red with no smell. Guess my clutches are still good.http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Approve.gif

Nick's looked the same way when I drained it before the trans mod. His clutches told a different story.

I have an appointment Monday, May 24 to have the tranny flushed and a new filter. I have almost 21000 miles on the truck. I changed the filter at 5000 because some guy at a RV rally that knew someone that worked for Allison and they said it was the thing to do. I never had any trouble and don't want any. I just got back from a trip to the mountians and this tranny is amazing.

Had my flushed about 2 weeks ago. Put in Transynd, had almost 30,000 miles on it. My buddy said it look about like most with that any miles.
