more questions:

* Can you adjust speed limiter with this unit or do I need to buy a predator?

* Can I hook up the pyro wires to work with my x-monitor wires or do I have to drill a new hole?

yes there are 5

cdoohay
so the units you sold, you upgraded to 4.73 or were they sent to edge to get the 4.73?.......I think john has what they call a juicer that enables him to log on and do the upgrades in house........the 145 seems to be real close to the comp juice and with the defuel turned off its very wicked........a built tranny is a musthttp://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Cool.gif Edited by: sdaver

My supplier burns them . He just replaced all the old ones today. I have the new 4.73 and I'm shipping them today to my buyers. The piss off is Edge never said anything until Wednesday so we all shipped the 4.72s. I installed mine tonight, I put it in the extra 12v acc. plug by the cobby hole on the dash. Looks great. East to do. Pull face plate remove plug put it back

I have the HOT Juice v4.61. What is the upgrade that will stop the anoying defueling and how much will it cost me? Do I need the attitude w/ the pyro or can I just get 4.73 skip that piece?

BTW: the 145 would be nice as wellhttp://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Big Smile.gif http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Big Smile.gif Edited by: Mcfly

Steve O will have one Saturday or Monday. This will just be a 125, but the monitor works the same, and a stock transmission will not let you use it all anyhow...

Nice Eric, give us all the details

Aren't the 2003's different in that area? That set up won't work on 2001-2002's will it???? I heard they are making a extension for the unit so it can be placed in the overhead consol...Looks good on yours though.

I did mine the same as eric. It is a tight fit and no need for any screws or anything. Just squeeze it in and drill a small hole for the wire.

I was going to install in the overhead console and just extend the wires but I think it will be hard to see. It is real easy to see in the dash.

how did you guys run the wire? its too short

Max Power
10-04-2003, 03:37 PM
I drilled a whole through my firewall where the throttle cable would go through. Lots of cable.

That looks pretty good Eric, I hope to get a first hand look next week. But as stated above, that location is out of the question in the 01-02 models. I like how the wire comes from the back and not the end (like on the TST Powermax)

Max Power
10-04-2003, 07:36 PM
Actually the wire comes from the bottom http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Cry.gif They should have made it adjustable from back to bottom. Unfortunately mine is pinched really tight below it as I installed mine the same as Eric. Great minds think alike http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Approve.gif http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Big Smile.gif I am going to try to fabricate something to fill in the end that the controller does't cover up. Either that or center it and cover up each end. I might try to get another case from edge and paint it black. This way if I don't like it I can still go back to the unpainted version.

sdaver

I too would like a black case and a harness extension
