Hi,
I am helping a friend track down a issue with his 1998 z-71. basically the truck will not start and there is a clicking under the dash in the mean time the dome light is flickering kinda like a relay thats clicking maybe cutting power monentarily. I actually removed the Remote Function Actuation Module and this issue went away. Is there any adverse affect of removing this module? called the dealer and A new one is 150 bucks and he doesnt have the remotes so if its not a issue he would like to not purchase the new module but if that's what he has to do then he will. Can anyone explain what this module does? thanks, Larry
BTW with the module removed the truck runs.
