My new to me 410,00km 93' 1Ton 4x4, 6.5TD idles rough, smokes like a SOB and is louder that hell when cold. Shortly after it kick down off high idle it quiets down to almost normal but still smokes white when hold the skinny peddle. Engine is origional.

The glow plugs are good and working so I am suspecting the 4911 IP. I have to check the timing mark.

Does anyone have any other thoughts

I have spare injectors from a 94' 6.5TD that I will try to put in first ... I know I will need to change the fuel return line as 2 are leaking.
