I want to buy 3500 dually with the LBZ engine with the auto Allison, but am unsure if it will hold up hauling HotShot Loads? Anyone out there with 06 hauling loads, let me know how it does?

I am sure a mod will move this to the appropriate section. There are plenty of commercial haulers on this site. They will be happy to help you once they read this ...
IMO the d/a combo would make a great hot shot rig... I don't see any problems as long as you have a good trailer and keep your head about your load.

They call and you go = hotshot, 24/7. Commercial hauling

Typically done using a gooseneck trailer and I know folks that haul up to 36k lbs with D-max's, PS's and Cummins, most using double and triple axle trailers like a Big Tex and with goooood brakes. Oilfield stuff.
