Lately my 06 lly has been making a strange noise just after startup. It sounds like the engine is revving a lot higher than it should in each gear. The oil pressure goes way up at this time too. Later (7-10 min)the sound just stops and the oil pressure goes back to normal. Anyone have this happen? Is it hurting my truck? And what do I do about it?????? Thanks in advance.

Its your engine fan, its normal. Does get pretty loud tho!

Gotta love the "scream machine"

The motors will rev when they are cool\cold to get them to warm up and hence it makes the fan engage. Normal operation as stated in the Owners Manual.
