With the add on fuel pumps becoming a popular mod I thought this might be important. Has anyone come up with anything conclusive as to how much pressure the EDU and the injection pump low side seals can handle?

Actually steve has been doing some testing with the EDU as its been a concern for some time. here is what he has found:

FWIW i've ran mine anywhere from 1-14 PSI.

14 Psi is a pretty good test. I wonder if anyone is running at that or higher.

If someone comes across a wrecked truck or a bad unit I would also be more than glad to run a step up hydro test and post the charts here. I have the equipment at my disposal to run 1-5 psi steps to the point of failure or a pressure well above what most can live with. This unit will pick up a fraction of a leak.

What pressure has steve reached with his testing?Edited by: a bear

I believe Diesel Tech is in the middle of testing the next highest level? I think he is at 10 PSI?

I have read that anything over 20 PSI will damage the system. Specifically the low pressure pump.
