Hi Guys,
I just bought a new 2500 HD Silverado with the Duramax (LBZ) and Allison tansmission combo. WOW!!! More power than I will ever need and looks great going down the road. I'm at about 1,700 miles and i'm getting a sort of hum from the engine. Almost sounds like a poorly ground radio humming the the rpm of a motor. I'm having checked next week. Maybe I'm just paranoid because it's new, and this is also the first diesel I've owned so maybe it's just breaking itself in. Anyways, i love the truck and look forward to many years of smooth (and powerful) driving. Any tips on maintenance would be appreciated.
