I want to put a lift on my 04 2wd 2500HD. I do not know what is offered and what to really look for. My buddies all have Fords and huge lifts, I just want something like a 4" or 6" and some 35s on Classic IIs. I was wondering what kits I have available to me, and if anyone has any pics of their trucks or 25000HDs with lifts, Id like to see them.

Do a bit of reading at this link (http://dieselplace.com/forum/search.asp?KW=lift&SM=1&SI=TC&FM=2&OB=1) and you likely get the info you need.
This thread (http://dieselplace.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=5288&KW=lift) has a very good comparisonEdited by: Professor

I would like to lift my 04 dually as well. But not much. I still need it to pull my gooseneck. Right now I have cranked the torsion bars, and put 235 tires on it. I would like a couple more inches though. Any ideas?http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Ermm.gif

I have a rancho 4" on mine... 2500hd cclb..we have installed many ranchos and some pro comps, one superlift . With my experience if all you want is 4" then stick with Rancho, good directions and the holes line up. With 2 guys you can set the diff/subframe into place and the bolts slide right in, no prybars were needed. 6"pro comp is pretty good if that much is what you want. http://dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Cool.gif BTW we have the Rancho kit down pat, 2 of us and the truck is rolling within 5 hours. It helps if one of the guys has known the IFS since the beginning(ME).

If you are looking for 35's. I have a set of BFG's I would like to sell. They are Mud Terrain with about 50% - 65% tread left. 1 of the 4 is brand new with less than 500 miles. They are mounted on a set of alloy rims which almost match the factory GMC alloy. I ground down my center caps about 1/8" and you can't hardly tell they are not factory. BFG Mud Terrain 35 x 12.50 on 16.5 X 10 alloy rims.
