My Air Bag warning light and a message on the DIC came on today, I pushed the OnStar button and they did a system test stating all was ok (this was after I turned the truck off and restarted it). Anyone have this happen? Does the codes clear on a restart that OnStar would see? I was just wondering.


Oh..I ask if there was a code and they said "no code was found" but if it does it again within 24 hrs to get it to the dealer.

There should still be a code, maybe Onstar can't see history codes.

Mine did it once...no code either. The time it did it, I noticed I started it and began driving before the flashing airbag light went out. Now, I wait until all systems are a go, before I drive. Just a guess...
