Neighnbor across the street has a visitor with an old Chev 6.2 with 564 K miles and he's replaced three sets of injectors and two pumps. He's enroute from Calif to Flor. pulling a gooseneck tandem axle trailer loaded with ice making equipment and says he's getting about 12-13 mpg but gets 23-27mpg running empty. I told him he bette keep the old truck. He looked at my 03 GMC 2500 D/A and says thats for him.

I was driving my old 6.2 up until 3 days before I took delivery on my 03 when it blew a head gasket! I made the mistake of sitting in the 03 the day before... the old girl could smell it on me and gave up the ghost!
