I just picked up a new Silverado 2500HD Duramax this past weekend. I checked the VIN and it does indeed fall within the dreaded glow-plug recall range. Eventhough the dealer is saying that mine is exempt from the recall, I'm going to demand he re-program it per the recall instructions. What other recalls/TSB's should I be aware of and make sure he addresses? The manufacture date of the truck is 11/05 and the engine is an LBZ.
