No more than 200 miles after the flywheel was replaced I got on it a little bit while towing a 3k trailer. Clutch seemed to hold fine (im only running a 70 horse VA box, but maybe it got flipped to 150?) but I went to shift into 6th and the clutch was really hard to press in and it stuck 3/4 of the way to the floor and didnt come back. I was on a two lane road without any turnouts, so I had to kinda force it into 5th to make it to the top. Once I got there I stuck my foot under the clutch and pulled it up. It seemed to act fine after I did that......

This sucks. The old clutch held even the 150 VA fine even towing much heavier. I never had a hard pedal until tonight.

Ill see if it does it stock....if so back to the dealer.

How much does the aftermarket flywheel cost?

manny,

Contact Deadeye and get a real clutch set up in your truck. I've just purchased a single disk / SMF and it is in transit as I type.

But its expensive, isnt it?

I would like something dependable and all, but 1700 bucks is a big chunk of change.....! I could have sworn that I saw something for closer to 1k......or was I dreaming?
