Is there a snow plow package to raise and stengthen the front in of own trucks? Or do we have to crank the T/B?

Raise the torsion bars.

I also installed some Timberins (sp) to help stiffen the front some.

And what kind of snow are you seeing in SC ? Does it snow down there ?

My dad wants to get a D/A reg cab and put a plow on it. He lives in Erie, Pa and there is a lot of snow there.

Ahhhh I see said the blind man.

I had a Fisher for 10 years with no problems either on my last Dually, and Western and Fisher are both owned by the same company now.

If you stick to a name brand plow they all work well.

I like the Western a little better because the whole blade trips if you hit a curb or man hole and with the Fisher only the lower edge trips which proved to be a little too low on some of the curbs I hit.

But the electronice and pumps worked well on both models.

I would suggest a hand held controller, it makes things a little easier.
