I know this is not a diesel question since it relates to a 4 L60 trans but here goes.


I noticed on my daughters 99 gas Sub that the trans connvertor unlocks at the slightest throttle pressure when pulling a trailer. Is this common to the gas trans or can this be reprogrammed or controlled?


My fear is excess heat from premature unlocking and pulling in the unlocked mode.
