After lusting for a Duramax for 2 years and lurking on the forum for over a year, I finally took delivery on my new black Chevy LT3 CC standard box on Saturday.
My next door neighbor is a Sales Manager at one of the local dealerships - he let me know there was a rumor about 0% financing about a week before it was announced. He did not have what I wanted in stock, so I did a search and found 4 possible choices at other dealers within a 100 mile radius. The day 0% was announced he was on the phone chasing swaps. Needless to say he was successful, and made me a deal I couldn't refuse.
This is a great forum. I have already learned a lot about the care and feeding of the Duramax and look forward to learning more.
I am also looking forward to hooking up my Jeep and trailer to the truck and accelerating up those grades that kicked my '04 5.3L 1500's butt. :D
