Had someone run the VIN on this forum on a brand new 2006 that is sitting on a dealers lot that I am working a deal on. The VIN check that he did says the warranty start date was back in 4-8-06. Yet this isn't even sold yet. What is up with that?

It would be reset to the day you take delivery of it. That is when it got there prolly. They activate it so if they notice something wrong, they can repair it under warranty and be paid for it. So dont worry Tim.
