What do you think? Have a loaded 03' gmc slt, crew, d/a, 4x4, with 20,000 miles on it. Thinking about trading it in on a new one with same options. What do you feel mine is worth? Or would be a reasonable trade-in amount the dealer should give me? And what are out the door prices on a new one, same in options? Any cents would be great....

I've been doing the same thing since fall of 98 w/ the new style trucks and suv.

For someone that isn't a GM employee u should be able to trade in the $2000-3000 range.

It may take trips to a few dealers to find the right one.

I deal w/ 3 different dealers and most of the time they have my trade sold before my new truck is in.

The miles might hurt u some, my are usually less than 7000 miles.

why would you wanna trade a truck with 20k on it anyway? why not wait and get the "all new 06"...?

I'd keep it as well. You still got many miles left. I bet the new car smell isn't even gone.
