We just purchased a 2006 GMC 2500HD crew cab 4X4 with a 6600 Duramax engine and 6 speed Allison transmission. We had a 2000 GMC 2500 extended cab 4X4 with a 6.0 engine. Three months ago we purchased a 29 foot Cross Roads Cruiser 5th. wheel trailer and found that we needed more power. Got a great deal since my brother-in-law worked for GM Hughes. We saved over $6000, plus 0% interest financing too, this was too good to pass up. We plan to leave for the Oregon Coast in a couple of weeks and know we won't have any problem pulling now.
