Here's my question, I thought all the 06's had the big mirrors, my cousin bought an 06 without them I guess, I was wondering if he might have bought an 06 LLY with the old 310hp diesel. Question is did they make the 310hp LLY in 06 models and are all 06 mirrors the big ones?

the first 06 duramax's came out with the 310 hp lly until the 4thquater around december trhen the lbz 360 hp moter came out the early 06 came out with the 6 speed tranny the same as the lbz as far as the mirrors the big mirrors are a option if you look on the window stickers it will reflect a upcharge for camper style mirrors and some trucks just have the small mirrors i have seen a lot of them floating around i had a 06 lly and it felt like it had more power but that was because the change in the ecm and the different injectors i traded for a 06 lbz though was afraid the new body style would not look as good as these trucks do .

The LBZ's have 360hp... the LLY is the same motor but with different programming and a dif HP rating aswell
