Well after months of waiting for the best deal and trying to get everything ready to do some hauling I am finally getting my 06 crew cab 2wd dually this morning. It is an LT1 with D/A combo and it is black. How this all came about is a funny story though. I took both my vehicles (1999 Tahoe and 2000 International 4900 box truck) to the dealer thursday for them to look at. The salesman wanted to drive the International over to the guys house who does medium duty stuff. Well as he approached the man's house the old man was backing out of his driveway and not looking. Salesman had a choice, hit the old man in his Tahoe or hit the bradford pear tree limb. He chose the limb and crushed the dry van box and nearly ripped the drivers door off when the limb caught the mirror assembly.

Long story short they gave me more than I wanted for my truck and Tahoe and now I will be driving a new silverado 3500. :ro)

I think this is what they call " a lucky crash(cash) break".

Yes, sometimes you just get(old guy in Tahoe) lucky.
Out of couriousity. Where did you find the best deal?
