I recently traded in my 2003 Dodge V-10 for a 2001 GMC Sierra. I've wanted a diesel for a long time, but had a hard time convincing the Mrs. that it would not smell or be loud. The Duramax is much more quiet than the Cummins, so I was able to convince her to go on a test drive. So now I own a diesel, and this is a whole different breed of cat. I'm going to tow my 27' trailer this weekend so I'm looking forward to seeing how it stacks up to the V-10!

Welcome :) The biggest difference you will notice is fuel use, you will get much better mileage. Second, you will be amazed at the high torque at low RPM's. Enjoy!
