Not sure if it was the right thing to do. But, its in the drive way! I do tow, small loads weekly though. Average 2500-3000lbs. I do it 3-4x a week.

Anyway's. I noticed a small vib in the brake pedal at idle not while braking. Anyone know why?

Thanks

I just picked up an LBZ and noticed the same exact thing. Glad to hear it wasn't my imagination.

Odd...

I haven't a clue. Your truck has hydro-boost rather than vacuum assist power brakes. Check your fluid levels -- brake; powersteering.

Maybe someone smart will chime in.

FWIW, my '04.5 developed a leak at the master cylinder at about 1000 miles. It ate the cheap coating off of my frame, but was fixed under warranty. They sprayed some rubberized coating on the frame where the damage was done.

Noticed same vibration on my 06 2500HD when I test drove to purchase with 20mi on the odo. Still does it at 500 mi but I am not real concerned yet. Post any findings you come across with this issue.

On the Hydroboost unit mounted on the firewall, their is a high pressure hose off the top of the unit that bends downward immediately upon leaving the unit & extends downward, it has a piece of rubber type insulator slid over it where it touches the accumulator resevoir (I believe it is blue anodized in colour) on the Hyrdoboost unit as well, I thought it was unnecessary for the line to be touching the accumulator so I moved it away slightly, then came the vibration just as you described. So I reposotioned the line back up against the accumulator & sure enough it was gone, I have trouble believing that was designed into it, but it does save money if it was done for that reason, try it, only 2 minutes to loose.
