OREGONFIREMAN, this is the grandaddy of buying GMvehicles art a discount. GM employees get 2 of these a month per person. It works out to around 12% off of MSRP. This is also set up with NO HAGGLING! The G.M.S.D.(General Motors Supplier Discount Price) is on the invoice of each vehicle. It first shows G.M.S. This is the price that a GM employee pays for a vehicle. Below that figure is the G.M.S.D. Price. Many, Many companys are given this G.M.S.D. because they supply parts or service to GM. Check with your Human resource person & you might be surprized. The problem lies in the fact that we can only get 2 per employee. With the 0% sale & the G.M.S.D.#, people are given a VERY good reason to buy OR SWITCH/ UPGRADE their vehicles!! I'm out & was within 3 hours of 7/1 when we got them!! Howard

We get 2 per employee per month. The GMS program, we get to use 6 per year. They can only be given out to relatives of a employee.

So how do these things work? When you finish haggling your trade in price you tell them you have this GMSD # and that's it?

thanks for the info, now I know, I ended up negotiating invoice plus 500.00 they showed me the invoice? I think this is a good deal.
