Hey, guys. Would removing the fuel cooler cause any problems? On the 60 gal tank, they have a long line, for cooling. Any thoughts?

The story I have heard from a few is that if you remove the cooler the warm fuel returning to the tank is not cooled and when it gets to the tank and joins the cool fuel it will cause condensation which in turn you are basically naturally adding WATER to your fuel. Not good.

Too bad. Just ordered one of the current design. Supertanks said that they have a six-foot long cooler with fins that has more air flow / surface than factory. Guess I'll see.
Will sure be nice to tow 500 miles on a tank though !

Looks like Supertanks need to pony up some money and pay to have their web site listed with google. What is their web site?
Disregard this! I found it!Edited by: hdmax

I had the same question. Of course, they said the cool tube thing was "as good or better than factory" but I wasn't sure. I guess we really need to see some actual numbers on heat transfer efficiency.
Can't find it. Could someone post a url/link for supertanks.
