Anyone know how much fuel is consumed by the LBZ @ idle? Say in gallons per hour?

It's probably close to if not the same as the previous models which IIRC .5-.75 gph

Can you tell me what the GPH would be at hwy speeds and what PSI with out lift pump. I am trying to figure out the flow for the fuel to size some 3 way valves. Thanks

My lly reads about 0.2 gph in park warmed up no A/C. add about 0.1gph for A/C and another 0.1gph if the engine is in drive rather than park.

Just curious if anyone knows what the 6.0 liter gas engine would do for gph in idle?

Try putting it in gear and taking your foot off the brake that will help your mileage.;) ):h

My DIC said "oaklahoma city oklahoma" a few years ago, now it just says "OK" A new code maybe?

I have an 06 LLY with a scan gauge 2 and it reads .4 GPM at idle (no load), in gear .6-.7 GPM and about .8 GPM in gear with A/C working (not just on). In the morning it will be about 1.0 GPM out of gear at idle until it warms up.

You should probably start a new thread for this.

Not sure, but when I had my 6.0 gasser I could see the needled move just looking at it. It has to be the worst mileage vehicle I've ever been in. I remember my old 85 truck getting better mpg.

Just curious if anyone knows what the 6.0 liter gas engine would do for gph in idle?

My LBZ consumes .35 gph i did the math one day to findure it out. Ran a little less than 3 hours on 1 gallon.

Don't mean to hijack the thread but why you want to idle the engine for any longer than turbo cool down period prior to shutdown...usually no longer than 3 minutes or so?

Because they don't want to shut it off.:duh: :D Like if your sleeping in your truck or if your out in BFE its colder than a witches *** and don't want to have to worry about it starting.

I see. Don't have that problem in California but of course we have other problems that would take more space than the moderators would allow...!

Ain't that the truth.
