: O2 sensor question

I don't know if this is the right place to ask, but here goes. I have a 2000 Tracker with the 2 litre engine. It started running rough so I hooked up my code reader to it yesterday to see if there was a stored code and there was. The code on it was P0135 Malfunction of 02 sensor cucuit, Bank 1 sensor 1. Am I correct in assuming that the sensor in question is the pre cat sensor ? I'd hate to replace the wrong one as the sensors are $250 each! I checked all of the wires to make sure it wasn't something stupid like it came disconnected or a frayed wire.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

My son has a Blazer and it has 4 sensors.

Left #1

Right #1

Right #2

Post Cat

He was having trouble with Right #1 being intermitent so I moved it to Post Cat and it has been working ever since. I had a feeling it just might work if I moved it to a cooler part of the syste.
