I know the grill, hood, lights and everything are different, but could a truck with the cat eye headlights be fitted with the lights like on the 01 and 02 hd models?

The hood and fenders will not match up. I believe the whole front clip is different on the 03 and up trucks.

need new fenders, hood, grille, lights, and bumper.

but once you have those parts its pretty much "bolt on"

(meaning, all of the 2001-2006 trucks are identical from the A-pillar back)

Anyone have a Black 01 or 02 that they want an 05 front end for?

also the frame horns for the front bumpers are different

then you would just have a 01-02 truck so y not buy an 01-02

I didn't know that the frame horns where different, damn. I would have bought an 01 or 02 truck, but back when I ordered my 05 I paid $2,000 more dollars for a brand new truck than I could an 01 or 02 with 50,000 miles on it. I looked high and low for months, just didn't see it feasable, maybe someday I'll end up scattering a deer with it and be able to get a different front end.

yeah there different frame horns for the bumper cause the guys doing the 03 up swaps on tahoes had to switch them

me ill just leave mine a 04 front

Hood is the same on the gmc 01-05 same w/the fenders ands head light/front turn signals. I see this is about chevys,my bad!!!!!
