I just had some sport comp 2 installed. When driving around my egt stay around 400-800 is that normal range.

Im new to the Diesel world and just joined but that seems kind of low. I would expect them to be in the 800 to 1100 range. Are you sure you have that EGT sensor mounted up close to the exit port of the turbo?? When I drive my Gas Muscle cars the exhaust temps are around 900+ degrees. (Hense the reason why high temp 1200 degree paint never stays on hedders)

What setting is your power pup on?
Where did you mount the probe, exactly?

With no load, just cruising my EGT is 700-800 and if I get up on it, hard, It'll hit 1200+.

Bullydog set on Performance mode or tow/econ the EGT seems to be about the same.

I also have an unrestricted exhaust and EGR blocker so the temps are kept down.

Sounds normal, per se if your egt is 800 degrees, like cruising the freeway at 70 mph but definitely not 400.

Hamdiesel the probe was mounted on the downpipe. I also have the bullydog on performance mode.
