Hi, everybody. I haven't been here in a dog's age due to switching jobs. I was one of the guys who had severe glow plug problems in the winter and had to endure a repair procedure that was nightmarish, to say the least.

I know that glow plug problems aren't a big deal anymore, and that the issue has long been laid to rest, but it sure was a big deal when it was happening to me and a lot of other owners.

My truck has been running perfectly with zero issues since I got it back. I managed to tow my friends 21 1/2 foot boat from New Hampshire to Lake George and then head back to Long Island the next day, putting just shy of 1,000 miles on in 24 hours.

All is fine with my truck now, and I hope everyone else is driving trouble-free like I am.

This is a truly great site with a wealth of information provided by the best people. Thanks again for everything guys...Carmine:ro)

Carmine,

I'm glad to hear you and your truck are well! I found this forum shortly after buying my truck in March and started following your glow plug saga. My first thought was OH $hit, what did I get into! Then the GPCM recall came out and I knew I had to get it done right away. I know you went through hell but you helped me be diligent with my truck and possibly others as well so maybe some good came out of it. Thank you Carmine and good luck with the new job...
