What is the best wheel offset for a 2500HD 4X4? I am looking for a stock appearance in terms of offset; in other words, I don't want 'em sticking way out. I wanna put at least a 16X8 if not 17X?. Any advice is appreciated!

Depends on the width of the wheel.

GMC-2002-Dmax's and my H2 Hummer wheels are 17 x 8.5 with 5.5" of backspacing.

The wider the wheel, the more backspacing required to keep them from sticking out.
