i was thinking of getting the afe cold air intake kit. but i was wondering if it takes oil on the filter then if you put to much on it will it mess with my map sensor and throw codes?

i wanted to get a little more power

then don't even bother with an intake, as in my opinion you will see no noticable gain as the stock one flows well

spend the money on something useful like a tuner

If you're careful and let the filter stand a while before you put it back on, you should have no problem with any of the oiled filters.

Spend your money on a programmer. Even a 40 horse tow tune will put a big grin on your face and will work fine with your tranny if you use your head.

I installed an afe super stock intake w/ a pg-7 drop in this past weekend. It uses the stock air box, but gives you an intake tube to the turbo. This intake w/ my MBRP 4" no kitty makes the turbo sing!!! And I CAN feel a difference. I also modified the stock box the way that is shown on Kennedy Diesel's website. Cut a triangle out in the front of the box.

P.S.-Just a quick plug Mark Craig getting me the intake VERY fast!!!

I would have to agree with these guys. Spend the money on a tuner first. Only reason i did one is bacause of the upgraded turbo. I do like the change in sound though!
