I'm looking at mounting my CB on the floor on the center hump above the Alison with sheetmetal screws. Does anyone know the clearance between the floorpan and the transmission, recommend size of screw? Edited by: Intelpig

I mounted a radio there but used some velcro to keep it from sliding and wedged it between the support thing by the acceleerator pedal and the heat ducting. This is on a reg cab and it has worked fine. The base of my radio is fullsized though its not just a U bracket. Its a big plasitic base.
