hoot 10-01-2003, 10:09 PM The sensor is a circular float that rides on a shaft. As water accumulates in the bowl, the float rises. Once it reaches a certain level it activates the Water In Fuel (WIF) light. So to answer your question, only if whole water accumulates in the bowl.
